Sara Ronhovde, PhD, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor who practices at our Children's Behavioral Health in Wenatchee.

Specialty of Practice: I have worked with individuals struggling with eating disorders for the past ten years. I am trained in addressing depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and Bipolar disorder, along with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Borderline personality disorder.

Sara Ronhovde, PhD, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor in Washington State and has lived in Arizona and Colorado before returning to her hometown of Wenatchee. Dr. Ronhovde attended Seattle Pacific University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.  She obtained her masters and doctoral degrees through Walden University.

Dr. Ronhovde’s clinical experience began while working in an eating disorder center in Tucson, AZ.  She completed an internship leading groups and providing support for adolescent males at the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections in Tucson and Phoenix, AZ.  Dr. Ronhovde’s passions for therapy include helping adolescents and adults find health and healing in their lives through learning about themselves and employing skills to change unhelpful patterns and behaviors. Dr. Ronhovde enjoys being active and getting outdoors to run, bike, and be in the sun.

Hobbies: Running, biking, doing Crossfit and music

What attracted you to CVCH?
I like the multidisciplinary approach and the ease of access to services for individuals in Wenatchee. I appreciate having a holistic perspective involving the medical and psychological aspects when treating a client and helping them attain their goals.

What do you like about Wenatchee?
I love the mountains, rivers, lakes, and all of the outdoor activities.
