What is Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH)?

CVCH is a non-profit Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) providing quality medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare to families and individuals of all ages, regardless of ability to pay. As part of our commitment to providing quality care CVCH maintains accreditation by the Joint Commission.

Do you take insurance?

We accept most private insurance plans as well as Community Health Plan, Medicaid, Medicare, Coordinated Care and Washington state medical coupons. Our goal is to help you access healthcare and maintain wellness regardless of your insurance or ability to pay. If you have financial concerns about receiving services please ask to see a Patient Services Representative.

How do I choose my provider?

When you call our Clinic to establish care at CVCH, our Call Center Agents can assist you in finding a provider who is the best fit for you. Please visit the Provider section of this website to learn who our providers are.

What is a PCP?

PCP means Primary Care Provider. Working with a PCP provides better quality and improved care coordination. Your provider and his team will be more informed and will provide better follow-up care. We can all benefit from having a PCP, but especially those with chronic conditions.

How can I access my medical records?

For a copy of your medical records, or to send files to another provider, our reception staff can help you complete the correct form of disclosure. Medical records are sent to other medical providers at no cost, but if you want to get your own copy, you may have to pay a fee. Rates vary depending on the number of pages and the file format (eg.: Paper copies, DVD).

How do I make an appointment?

Call us at 509.662.6000 to schedule an appointment at any of our clinics. Give the scheduler the name of your primary care provider if you have one and the reason for your visit. When your provider asks you to return for a follow-up visit you may make the appointment up to 60 days ahead. If you have any disability needs please let us know when you schedule your appointment. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment in order to avoid a longer wait time.

Where are you located?

We have 7 clinic locations. Our Wenatchee clinic is located at 600 Orondo and offers medical, dental, behavioral and WIC services. In East Wenatchee, the Express Care clinic is located at 900 Eastmont Ave. In Chelan the clinic is located at 317 E. Johnson and offers all primary care services.

How much will my visit cost?

If you have insurance and it requires a co-pay you will be asked to pay that amount at the time of your visit. We accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and credit cards. If you do not have medical coverage a Patient Services Representative can help you determine your eligibility for various programs offered by the state. A sliding fee scale is available based on income and family size.

Documents to bring for sliding fee verification

Please bring proof of income for the last 30 days (paycheck stub or letter from employer) or your most recent tax return with you at the time of your visit.

Is there a Nurse Line?

Maybe you don't need an appointment or it is after hours but you would like to speak to a nurse. CVCH has a free 24 hour, 7 day a week service is available to patients of CVCH. Please call 509.662.6000 and listen for the Nurse Line option.

Our Services

Is there a CVCH Pharmacy?

Yes! The CVCH pharmacy is able to fill prescriptions written by providers of Columbia Valley Community Health. Our pharmacy can only fill prescriptions from outside providers for current patients with a primary care provider at CVCH. For more information, please call 509-664-3508.

What if I can't afford my prescriptions?

In order to maintain pharmacy services we need to ask everyone to pay for their prescription. If you cannot afford your medications there may be different forms of help available. Please ask us about those options.

What dental services are available at CVCH?

We provide comprehensive dental care for children and adults including exams, cleanings, x-rays, and fillings.

What behavioral health services are available at CVCH?

We provide comprehensive behavioral health care to children, adolescents, adults and families including assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, medication assessment and management.

What if I need to see a specialist?

If you need to see a specialist, we will work with you to arrange a visit. For specialists outside CVCH, you would be responsible for payment for those services and you will need to make arrangements directly with the specialist. If you have insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare, these programs would normally pay for such services. If you have no coverage for medical care, we would work with you toward obtaining coverage.

Are interpreter services available?

Yes - CVCH has free translation services available. Ask a Member Services Representative to access this free service.
