Joint Commission Accreditation

As part of Columbia Valley Community Health’s continued commitment to providing the highest quality of care, we have chosen to undergo and maintain accreditation through The Joint Commission. The Joint Commission is nationally recognized as a symbol for quality and safety among health care organizations.

Patients and customers, as well as employees, of Columbia Valley Community Health that have concerns about patient care and safety that we have not addressed are encouraged to contact Columbia Valley Community Health’s management at (509) 662-6000 or (800) 288-7649. If concerns cannot be resolved, the individual is encouraged to contact the Joint Commission at (800) 994-6610 or complaint@jointcomission.org.

CVCH has a robust Quality and Accreditation (Q&A) department that is focused on patient safety and meeting industry standards and qualifications.

Safety is always first. We have what’s known as the “good house-keeping” seal of approval for our industry.  We use a variety of tools to review our processes and procedures.  These include quality of care performance measures and incident, safety and peer reviews. We are proud to have a culture of safety where we consistently meet standards, are constantly benchmarking with other organizations, and are up to date with most current regulations for our industry.

At CVCH, we focus on quality, it’s part of our mission, and one of our core values.  This focus is passed onto and noticed by our patients.
