Biography:

· Marlene Aguilera, LICSW is a bilingual Child Mental Health Specialist and Mental Health Therapist who practices at our Children’s Behavioral Health location. She completed her graduate degree at the University of Washington and has a special interest in attachment and trauma. Marlene enjoys working with all ages of individuals and holds that our feelings and behaviors become clear if we work towards understanding the underlying message they have to offer. Marlene’s therapeutic style is eclectic, and client centered, utilizing evidenced based practices from EMDR, Child Parent Psychotherapy, Circle of Security, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Individual Therapy, and Play Therapy.
